and i have never been to the mall of america but i am sure that i would love the dish and if no one was at the mall when it happened i would definetley be alright with it blowing up. i live out in arcata california and have had visions of the prairie for some time now. anything you'd like to share abou the wondrous state of minnesota, i would love to here. lvoes and blessings all.

Hi all, I'm going to be coming home for a visit on Labor Day, and was wondering if it's worth it to try and get to the Fair on the last day?

I'm arriving at the airport from Seattle at noon, and have a few hours to kill before I have to do the obligatory mother-in-law visit. I haven't been to the Fair in so many years, but just HAVE to try out whatever's new on a stick! :~)

One of my favorite things is wandering through the animal barns, but I suppose they'll all be empty by then. I'm not much into the carnival rides and games, but if there's some good entertainment, and of course people watching, then it may be worth the effort to get there!

Thanks for any suggestions!

Why are the drivers in Minnesota so bad?

Don't you know that the left lane is for passing? You don't have to rush over to the middle or left lane as soon as you get on the highway. Especially if you're doing 50-60mph.

And why do people crane their necks and look backwards to see if there is a car in the next lane?? That is incredibly dangerous! Look forward, unless you're driving in reverse.

I know that most people in Minnesota are from the country and the highway is relatively new, but please be careful with other people's lives.

The most frustrating thing is how Minnesotans slow down for absolutely every possible reason. For example - a lane is closing 10 miles ahead, and everyone slows down and moves over, wasting 9.75 miles of perfectly good road.
